MTV Denies Banning Kanye West's "Monster"

As reported yesterday, MTV banned Kanye West's "Monster" video.  According to the two feminine activists, a petition of 5,000 signatures were sent to MTV voicing strong concerns about the video.

The activists also claims that MTV personally contacted them ensuring that the video will not make airwaves.  A Rep for MTV contacted CNN to deny these claims.

"MTV has not banned Kanye West's "Monster" video.  We have been in constant communication with the label regarding this matter.  However, we are still waiting the edits we requested in order for the video to be suitable for broadcast"

If that's the case, Kanye WHERE'S THE F***IN' VIDEO?!

Twitter: Time's Person of the Year??

According to the infamous tech magazine "Wired" the debate is on.  Can Time Magazine be named person of the year.  Wired takes a look back at previous nominations; including the computer in 1982, the good samaritains in 2005, and even you in 2006.

With that in mind Twitter can be a canadiate but with Obama as a contender I think twitter should be just be happy for the nom.

Relax and Take Note

One thing I've learned while in college is note taking.  There is nooo way you can pass a quiz or any test without studying your notes.  When I take notes I do not leave anything out.  You never know if something might be for extra credit.  I also make sure I sit in front.  I know when I sit in the back I know that I can miss very important information, and thats not a good look.  Also I make sure my notes are neat so I can review when I get home.  I've notice the my note taking skills are much better than I was in high school and it paid off.   I even scored an 98 on one of my quizes :-).

Where Does The Time Go?

Hey Kiddies! I'm baaack. I want to take some time out to talk about my personal struggle with time management. I don't know about you but this concept has been kicking my ass but I must admit that I'm coming along very nicely :-)

Before I started school I had nothing but time on my hands. I never had to worry about "to-do" list or schedules a day in my life. I lived by the hippie motto, "Just go the the flooowww man". I thought my blackberry calender was cute but useless.

Now my blackberry is my mini assistant and to-do list come naturally to me, especially around midterms.  I would loose my mind with out this device.  I must admit I did have to put a few parties and gossip on the back burner for study time, but at least I know it's worth it in the long run. Just pray for me honey, lol.
